NWCCOG is a voluntary association of county and municipal governments that believes in the benefits of working together on a regional basis. Serving a five county region, NWCCOG operates the Northwest Loan Fund. A quasi-governmental agency that specializes in financing for start up and young, expanding small businesses that are unable to obtain conventional funding due to the high risk associated with such businesses. The Fund focuses on projects which diversify the economy, create new jobs, and provide lasting community benefits.
The (SBDC) Network is dedicated to helping small businesses throughout Colorado achieve their goals by providing Free confidential counseling and various training programs. The SBDC combines information and resources from federal, state and local governments with those of the educational system and the private sector to meet the specialized and complex needs of the small business community. Regulatory, management, financial and marketing experts work in partnership to provide entrepreneurs with crucial information that can mean the difference between success and failure.
USDA delivers programs through three National Office Divisions and a nationwide field staff. Through the USDA Rural Development, numerous Business and Cooperative Programs are available. The mission of the Rural Development Business and Cooperative Programs is "to enhance the quality of life for rural Americans by providing leadership in building competitive businesses including sustainable cooperatives that can prosper in the global marketplace."
