Once annually the Town Board and Planning Commission meet to discuss one significant planning item that will be focused on in the coming year. In 2008 the Town focused on Local Employee Residence (Affordable Housing) and in 2009 the Town focused on Parking Regulations. It is the intent of staff to focus this year's discussion on Water Regulations.
While this meeting is open to the public, it is designed to allow staff, the Commission, and Board an arena to conduct preliminarly policy-related discussions regarding anticipated regulations. After the Workshop, staff sorts through the policy-related discussion items and drafts proposed regulations. These regulations are brought back before the Commission and Board at a later date and time. It is at that time public comments will be welcome and encouraged.
