Ordinances

An Ordinance is a regulation (an authoritative rule) adopted by the Town Board of Trustees.  Once an Ordinance is adopted, it is published; the Ordinance does not become effective for thirty (30) days after being published.  During the thirty (30) day period, the public has the right to contest the recently adopted Ordinance.  Providing there is no contest to the Ordinance, and the thirty (30) day time period has lapsed, the Ordinance becomes effective and is incorporated into the Municipal Code.  Please click on the Ordinance, below, for a full copy of the Ordinance.  Click Here to view an archive of 2010 and 2011 Ordinances.
