The Town of Grand Lake is a statutory municipality of the State of Colorado incorporated in June 1944. The Town is governed by a Board of Trustees consisting of a mayor and six trustees, elected by popular vote for four year terms. The Board determines policies, enacts local legislation, adopts budgets and appoints the Town Manager, Town Clerk and Town Treasurer.

Town Administration

Town Hall is located at 1026 Park Avenue. Town Hall hours are 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Board meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month at Town Hall, 1026 Park Avenue. Work sessions begin at 3 p.m.; Board meetings begin at 7:30 p.m. Agendas are posted online and at Town Hall and the Grand Lake Post Office the Friday preceding meetings.

These officials are not paid, therefore, are not at Town Hall on a day-to-day basis. You may contact them through Town Hall by sending an email to their attention, calling and leaving a message or by writing to them. We will forward your message.

Holiday Closures

The Town of Grand Lake is closed each New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and the following Friday, and Christmas Day.
