Alternate Board Member (Board of Adjustment): Although the Board of Adjustment has regularly scheduled meetings on the 3rd Thursday of every month, the meetings are often cancelled due to a lack of an agenda. Cemetery Committee Member: Letters of interest for cemetery committee member shall be accepted by the Town of Grand Lake until the end of year, 2009. Committee members meet quarterly, or as needed. Volunteer Opportunities in and around Town

Water Monitoring Volunteers: As a part of a multi-year project designed to develop lake-clarity standards, the Grand County Water Information Network (GCWIN) needs volunteers this summer to monitor lake clarity in Grand Lake and Shadow Mountain Reservoir. If you love boating, this is your chance to help ensure our lakes remain clear and healthy. Monitoring can take less than an hour per week of your time and your help will be invaluable in aiding GCWIN to development a more accurate understanding of our lakes.
