Pay-As-You-Throw (PAYT): Starting August 1st, 2010

The PAYT trash service program has been designed to provide trash services for a variety of users (renters, second homeowners, and visitors) in the Grand Lake area who may not subscribe to trash pick-up services. The drop-off facility (see site location map, below) is designated for pre-sold bags only. A 25-gallon trash bag is available for $3 each (tax included) and a 40-gallon trash bags are available for $ 4 each (tax included) at Grand Lake Town Hall and the Visitor's Center as well as at these local merchants: Circle D Grocery, Conoco, Grand Lake Hardware, Mountain Foods Market and Rocky Mountain Outfitters.
