Board of Trustees

The Town of Grand Lake is governed by a volunteer Board of Trustees consisting of a mayor and six trustees, elected by popular vote for four-year terms. The Board determines policies, enacts local legislation, adopts budgets and appoints the Town Manager, Town Clerk and Town Treasurer. 

Board meetings are held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month in the Town Hall boardroom located at 1026 Park Avenue. An informal workshop session is held at 4:30 p.m. for discussions (no voting) and the regular evening meeting follows at 6 p.m. Meeting agendas are posted online, at Town Hall and the Post Office on the Friday preceding meetings.

Trustee Vacancy Notice

April 24, 2024--The Town of Grand Lake has one Trustee vacancy to be filled by appointment. This position is to be held until the next election in April 2026.  Applicants must be a registered elector of the Town of Grand Lake, at least 18 years of age, and have resided in the Town of Grand Lake for a period of at least 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of appointment. Anyone interested in applying for this vacancy must submit a letter of interest and proof of residency to the Town Clerk, Alayna Carrell, no later than 4:30 PM June 5, 2024 to: acarrell@toglco.com ,  drop off in person to Town Hall, or mail to P.O.
