Grand County Office of Emergency Management
The Grand County Emergency Office of Emergency Management (OEM) helps residents prepare for and recover from natural disasters such as flooding and wildfires, as well as public health emergencies. These are a few of the emergency preparedness resources they provide:

Grand Lake Fire Protection District
The Grand Lake Fire Protection District is a combination fire and rescue agency serving the greater Grand Lake area, from County Road 4 (Stillwater Pass Road) north to Rocky Mountain National Park. They respond to structure or wildland fires, motor vehicle accidents, technical rope rescue, ice rescue, medical requests for help and everything in-between. They are actively involved in emergency response pre-planning and in providing the best free public education programs possible. This agency also handles short-term rental inspections. The fire station is located at 201 Portal Road.
Grand County Sheriff's Department
The Town of Grand Lake contracts police services with Grand County Sheriff's Office, which is based in Hot Sulphur Springs. The Grand County Sheriff’s Office has six divisions including Administration, Patrol, Detentions, Animal Control, Judicial Services, and Dispatch/Communications Center, all overseen by County Sheriff, Brett Schroetlin. Grand County Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
Grand County EMS is a premier provider of emergency medical services with four stations in Grand County, including one in downtown Grand Lake (located at the Grand Lake Fire Station). In non-emergency events, EMS may be contacted directly at (970) 887-2732. For emergency situations, please dial 911.
Middle Park Health
Middle Park Health is Grand County's locally-owned and governed healthcare system with six locations across Grand County, including a full-service hospitals and multiple medical centers that serve the surrounding communities. The Grand Lake clinic is located at the Grand Lake Center (301 Marina Drive) and provides primary care and laboratory services by appointment only.
