Welcome to Grand Lake, Colorado! We're glad you're here. Here is some information to help make your visit safe, enjoyable and memorable: 

Grand Lake Area Visitor's Center and Chamber of Commerce

Located at the entrance of town, on the corner of Highway 34/Trail Ridge Road and West Portal Road (across from the Conoco gas station), our visitor's center is a one-stop-shop to learn everything you need to know about vacationing in Grand Lake, including maps, business flyers and event information. This facility also houses a small display of artifacts and information about the East Troublesome Fire, which heavily impacted the residential and recreational areas surrounding Grand Lake in October 2020.

This web-based business directory offers a handy guide to many of the restaurants, shops and activities in the Grand Lake area. Hard copies of this charming, collectible caricature map can be found at various locations around town. 

Pay-As-You-Throw Trash Service (PAYT)

The Town of Grand Lake provides this convenient, affordable trash removal program--ideal for those in rental properties that don't provide private trash collection services. Trash must be collected in pre-purchased bags (40-gallon/Green - $8; 25-gallon/Blue - $5) and disposed of at the Town's PAYT drop-off facility, located at 601 Center Drive (behind the car wash). Bags can be purchased at the following locations: Town Hall, Grand Lake Center, Mountain Market, Ted's Place/Conoco, Grand Lake Hardware.
